Luke was a good friend and patient of mine for many years in my Newberry Dental Practice before I retired in 2016. He was a good man and always very kind to all. I was very saddened to hear of his death and my sincere condolences go out to Bill and all his family. He will be missed.

I worked at NCR Columbia with Luke from 1986-2000, and was part of the Product Management organization for many of those years. My friend Steve Ross and I moved to Spence's Point on Lake Murray in April, 1989. I remember Luke had a laminated Lake Murray map in his office with numbered stickers of folks at NCR that lived around the lake. When I think of Luke, I remember his friendly, easy-going demeanor which was refreshing at our sometimes intense workplace. I also remember him water skiing, playing pool, and just enjoying living in South Carolina. I extend my sincere condolences to Luke's family. I am honored and glad to have known him. - Doug Fears, Trabzon, Turkey
