LUGOFF - Thomas E. “Tom” Furr age 60 of Lugoff, SC passed away Thursday, May 25, 2017 surrounded by his family. He was born April 3, 1957 in Columbia SC to the late Robert Larry Furr and Julia Knight Furr. Tom served his country proudly in the United States Air Force and later worked at Furrs Glass Service in Stony Stratford, England and in Orangeburg SC as Master Glass Technician.
He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Jan L. Furr and his two children, Adam T. Furr of West Columbia, SC, Kellie A. Furr of Portland, OR and by his five siblings; Karen F. McLaurin (Matt), Bill Furr, Earline F. White (David), Jim Furr, Margaret F. Branham (Kenny) and Robert A. Furr (Melody). He was predeceased by his parents; his sister, Katherine F. Ard and his brother, Daniel E. Furr.
