Lisa Diane Gay, 57, of Liberty passed away on Thursday, September 5, 2019 at her home.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, September 8, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church, Liberty with Rev. A. Brian Harrington officiating; burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2:00 until 3:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church, Liberty.

Lisa was preceded in death by her father, Frank Routh.

Surviving is her mother, Linda Crutchfield Routh; sisters, Kandy Gay, Wendy Marbert and Tammy Haithcox and her husband, Lorne; three nieces; two nephews; two great-nephews and seven great-nieces.

At the family’s request, memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church, PO Box 815, Liberty, NC 27298.

After being at services to day it made me rememder the times we picked up lisa for dinner and the great times we had. she looked afrer our kids . i never thought of lisa handicapped she never ask for help and was aways willing to lend a hand i will miss her

So sorry yo hear this, I remember going to school with her and Wendy very well, she had such a sparking personalty, always brought a smile to my face. because she always had one on her face. may the lord wrap his arms around the family and bring them peace and comfort during this time of sorrow.
