Eastlyn Theobbles

Eastlyn E. Theobbles, 77, of Boca Raton, FL passed away on March 9, 2018. Born in Trinidad to Clarence and Elsie Sealey, she was one of seven children. Eastlyn had a passion for helping others and volunteered a great deal to many organizations including those for youth and animals. She was an avid "do-it-yourselfer" who loved tinkering with small home repairs which exemplified the strong, independent woman that she was. Eastlyn also enjoyed baking specialty cakes, shopping, early morning walks, gardening, and traveling to the Caribbean.

Survived by her daughters, Charmaine (Clement) Hewlett and Maureen (Miguel) Morales; those like daughters, Beverly Hines, Amy Archibald and Nadia Berkett Claver Lazare; her grandchildren, Jerome Pilgrim, Jamar Hewlett, Jai Hewlett, and Damani Wallace; and a great-grandchild, Jayce Hewlett.

Other grandchildren Miguel, Jr., Elizabeth, and Nisha. Also left to cherish her memory are her brothers, Carl and Selwyn Sealey; and nieces and nephews, Cheryl, Wayne, Lisa, Kay, Natalie, Rosanna, Dianne, Jerry, Derek, Earl, David, Gail, Kester, Linda, Samantha, Simone, Selwyn, Jr. , Shawna, Denise, Samota, Tony, Saint, Denise, Sam, and Callion. Special god-daughter Krystal Phillip. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Keith, Virginia, Everald, and Everette. Extended families are Hyacinth Hewlett and family, Fred and Elsie Morales and family, Albina (Aunty Liz) Benjamin, Hazel Gaskin; special family friends are Berthe Titus and family, Chris Griffith and family, Juan Garcia, Lindsay Finch, Gladys Gonzales, Ann Marie Villaret, and Ernest Brown. Special friends-her pastor and his wife Reginald and Jenny "Lady P" Perry and her Victorious Believers Church family; other friends and relatives too numerous to mention.

Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, March 15, 2018, from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Horizon Funeral and Cremation Services. A funeral Service will be celebrated on Friday, March 16, 2018, at 9:30 A.M. with burial to follow at Boca Raton Cemetery and Mausoleum.
