Jacqueline Kay Gilcrease, 67 of Lima, passed away at 8:53 p.m. Monday evening, May 7, 2018 at Lima Memorial Health Systems. She was born on Tuesday, March 13, 1951 in Lima to the union of Orville J. and Olga M. (Payne) Jennings, Sr. and they preceded her in death. On March 17, 1973, she was united in holy matrimony to Jimmy L. Gilcrease and he survives in Lima. Mrs. Gilcrease was a 1970 graduate of the Lima City Schools where she had been employed as a custodian, retiring from there after 30 years of service. In her pastime, she loved to travel with her husband either on his truck or just for vacation. She also loved to read and do arts and crafts and fishing. Besides her loving husband she leaves to cherish her precious memory, a son, Isaac W. Gilcrease, two daughters, LaDonna (Raymond James) Luckett, Samantha (Aaron) Jones all of Lima. She is also survived by her seven grandchildren, Keyairra Gilcrease, Tatiana Gilcrease, Javionté Gilcrease, Davionte Gilcrease, Trinity Upshaw, Imani Gilcrease, Jovanté Gilcrease; three great grandchildren, Nyjah Gilcrease, Amari Gilcrease and Amyla Williams; her siblings, brothers: Orville J. Jennings, Jr., Louis (Sharon) Jennings, sisters: Elizabeth James, Ruby (Julius) Smith, Bonnie (Jeffory) Edwards and Julia Briggs. A brother, Anthony D. Jennings also preceded her in death. She also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, May 14, 2018 at the Providence Missionary Baptist Church 2495 N. Cole Street, Lima, Ohio with Pastor Arthur Butler, officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery. Calling hours will be Sunday, May 13 from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m., with family present 6:00-8:00 at SIFERD-ORIANS FUNERAL HOME . Online condolences can be left at www.siferd-oriansfuneralhome.com.

Jackie was always a sweetheart.. I always would think of her whenever I came home and passed her home on Elm St.. I loved riding to McDonald's with her to get our Sausage Mcmuffins when I would help out at West Jr High... R.I.H Jackie you will be dearly missed..
