Pete.. My husband and I knew Pete as he was married to my niece. I remember most he had a wonderful smile, great humor, and love for his family. I was so happy when Courtney and Pete got together as they completed each other and their love for one another and their family brought joy to us all. Pete will always be remembered and missed.

I had the privilege of rodeoing with Pete in the pros after we went to college. He made me feel like a brother from day one. I wish I'd of stayed in better contact over the year's, but such is life. What always stood out to me about Pete was his grind, passion, and commitment towards things he loved. So much so, I felt like he knew he was running on borrowed time. And I guess we all are in essence. My thoughts and love go out to his family. I'm so sorry your time was cut short. But atleast we all know your time spent was beyond quality with one of the best cowboys I ever was blessed to call my friend. Rest in peace champ.

Pete - I first met him in San Andreas on a jobsite to help with work. We soon got to know each other & those we both knew & what a close circle we were in but had not met before. We shared alot in common & connections, talked alot about family & growing up with kids.
He is a great man & in the short time we shared he will be missed. We were planning family meets & kids riding horses.
Hope that can still come to fruition.
Thoughts & prayers to the family.
Sincerely; David Yee

There are so many memories, it’s hard to pick just one, but one of my favorites was when he came out to the ranch for the weekend as he did every weekend, and he hugged me and said, I met a girl. I asked him what she was like and where he met her, he filled me in all that he knew and told me her name was Courtney. After he described her, I knew exactly who he was talking about. I met Courtney through one of our dear friends Laurie and knew she was a genuine girl with so much love to give. I told him I thought I might know who he was talking about, he smiled this big grin and said, “I want you both to meet her, can she come out today”? I of course said yes and he called and invited her. When she was on her way, he said, “you stand on the other side of the driveway and I will stand in the barn, if she’s the right girl, give me a thumbs up. I agreed and laughed at how cute he was. Todd sees this little silver Honda coming down the road and whistles, hey...is that her??? He says I don’t know and runs and hides in the barn, well she drove past the house and he called her and said, is that you in the silver Honda?, you went to far. She comes back and drives up the driveway and she recognizes me and I recognized her and we smiled and I waved. Pete is peaking out of the barn with his hands up like..well...??? I gave him two thumbs up and he jumped in the air and says YES!!! We had a fantastic day, riding and laughing, BBQing and getting to know the girl that changed his life. That is when a beautiful romance and a once in a lifetime love started. They came out every weekend after that, until they moved in together. We love them all so very much and we are so blessed to be a part of their lives.

The best memory my husband ,and I have of Pete is the day he asked our daughter to marry him. We couldn't of asked for a better man for her . He was kind ,and hard working . He loved my daughter , children , family ,and friends. He would always help any one that needed a hand. No words could ever express the sorrow we feel as we have lost the best. I know he is with his maker ,and we will always keep him in our hearts . We love you Pete Uhalde ,and you will live on in all our memories

I can very distinctly remember the first time I saw Pete at State Finals. Little did I know then I would meet his sister Kelsey and we would form a lifetime friendship. It took just a few Uhalde family events to see that Pete was a kind, loving, and gentle spirited man.

My heart aches for his beautiful bride and young children. I am so sorry the Lord called him home too soon but I am faithful that one day Pete and his family will be reunited.

Rest easy cowboy.

Pete was a very kind and loving man. I watched this with his beautiful wife Courtney and there two children, Cade and Conley at Sara and Roman’s wedding so helpful and fun spirited.
His love for all his family was evident.
What a wonderful soul I got a chance to know.
No goodbyes, only See ya Later
Much love and prayers to Courtney and children and all his family
