Edwin Eisenman was born January 22, 1926 in Jewell County Kansas to Ernest Vincent and Louisa Pearl (Handley) Eisenman. He grew up on the farm and graduated from Munden High School in 1943. He married Dorothy May Williams on April 3rd, 1948. They lived on the farm for a few years before moving to Lincoln where he worked at American Stores until the plant shut down. He then worked as a guard at the State Capital until he retired. Out of this union they had three children. Martin, Arthur and Eileen. Edwin had 8 Grandchildren, Mark and Eric Eisenman, Leslie Olson, Jason Eisenman, Jennifer Wiles, Derek Law, Shelby and Carly Mendlik. 12 Great Grandchildren 4 Step Great Grandchildren. He married Emily E. Bloebaum on March 14th, 1992. They lived in Lincoln and then moved to Sun City, Arizona. They did lots of traveling and moved back to the Omaha area later on. They finally moved back to Lincoln in March of 2017. Out of Ed and Emily’s union, Ed added 8 step children; Alfred Bloebaum, Linda Pickering, Dannie Bloebaum, Randy Bloebaum, Steven Bloebaum, Reggie Bloebaum, Pattie Scott and Donald Bloebaum. With these step children they also had 25 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren. He will be missed deeply.
Ed is preceded in death by his wife Dorothy on August 3, 1989.
