You embraced us with warmth and love
Now you get to rest with God above
Never an unkind word would you speak
Always so lively, welcoming and meek
Upon Angel's wings, joining Papa in the arms of God
The memories will come, but at the moment it's hard
We miss you here where we shared your life
Yet know you're free from this world's stress and strife
With much more life to share, time passed too soon
And the void in our hearts now harshly will loom
Waiting for the space when fond memories will abide
Because you are loved, always -and it's never goodbye!💚
