

Constance A. Komoll, of Naperville, beloved wife of the late Raymond Cooke, passed away peacefully on October 20, 2024. Connie was mother to Ronald (Martha) and Michael (Jennifer) Komoll, and stepmother to Ted (Marianne), Tony, Carmel, and Richard Cooke; loving grandmother of Jennifer, Stephen (Liz), Ryan, Natalie, John, William, Justin (Sabrina), Kyle (Sara), Grant and Adam (Andrea) and great-grandmother of Elon, Parker, Landon, Aurora and Crew. She was close with several dear cousins, and was preceded in death by her brother, Eugene, and her parents, William and Anna Dubis.
Connie was born in Chicago and raised her children in Brookfield, before she and Ray moved to Naperville in 1987. She worked for many years as a commercial real estate manager, and she served on the Lisle Chamber of Commerce and the Board of her homeowners association. She traveled extensively, enjoyed art, tennis, birdwatching, and was an avid gardener.
A celebration of life reception will be held on Saturday, November 23rd from 11am to 3pm, including a service of remembrance at 1pm, at the Morton Arboretum in Lisle, Illinois. The Morton Arboretum is located at 4100 Illinois Route 53 in Lisle, and the reception will be held in their Thornhill Education Center building. See mortonarb.org for directions.
