Having lost my Mother at an early age and thank goodness Kathy and Ken's Mother. Pauline, much later Georgia then became my surrogate Mother and I will miss her greatly. I will no longer hear her say "and how's Fred?" when she was talking on the phone with Kathy. I always told her I was upright and slightly tilted and the tilt was getting slightly worse each year that goes by. Georgia's laughter was infectious and always made me smile when I heard it. I will miss the Peach, which was my nickname for her, because she was so sweet!!

Rest in peace Peach, someday I will be seeing you and hearing your laughter again.

I will always have such nice and great memories of Aunt Georgia. From my childhood I remember her always being so kind, upbeat and positive. I remember her laughter (which I heard often). Also she was a great host and very very welcoming for the many family get-togethers that we had at her house. My most recent memories are of her coming up to Grand Rapids to stay with my parents and spending time with her here—-which was always so nice and wonderful. I have been praying for her adult children and her granchildren, and the rest of our family members —as I know she is already greatly missed! Also—I recently watched the tribute video—it’s sooooo very nice—so glad it was shared on this site. Love and prayers.....

Georgia was the greatest sister, second mother to me when I (ken) was a kid, wife, mother and grandmother. When Kay and I were with Georgia and watching her and listening to her, we always came away from those visits better understanding how we too should strive harder to be like Georgia; a person of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness and gentleness.

I have many fond memories of my Aunt Georgia, especially the many times she hosted Thanksgiving at her house where there was always plenty of Pepperidge Farm stuffing and desserts. She always had a smile on her face and a great sense of humor. Her big heart and gentle soul will be greatly missed.

Georgia Winkless was my paternal aunt. She was a genuinely kind and caring person. I can honestly say that I never heard her speak harshly to anyone. I have fond childhood memories of many Thanksgiving Days spent at the Winkless home. Not only were the dinners always bountiful and delicious, but everyone had a great time just visiting and catching up. Thanks Aunt Georgia, for all the wonderful turkey days! Love, Laura

We regret not having met her, but knowing her son,
realize that she must have been a wonderful lady. Our sympathies are with the family.

Was always nice to me. She was my Mother-in-law and I will miss her. She always had her Grandchildren on her mind and cared for them very much. Loved pictures of them and just enjoyed there company. I always liked how much she would smile when they were together.
She was always good to our family and we all will miss her very much.
