Mary F. McCroskey, 96, of Little Rock was born January 20, 1923 in Little Rock to parents Thomas W. Mattingly and Myrtle Vick Mattingly. She passed away on Thursday, September 5, 2019. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband David McCroskey Sr., her daughter Priscilla Henderson, two brothers John and William Mattingly and a sister Ellen Dailey.
She is survived by her son David McCroskey Jr and his wife Robbie of Little Rock, her brother T.J. and his wife Kathy of Lake Charles, La. As well as her grandchildren Christine, Shanna, David III and Beth, 9 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.
She was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church in Little Rock where she served on the Alter Society and was a member of the Silver Singles. She attended Mt. St. Mary Acadamy and retired from Mattingly Furniture after 42 years. She enjoyed time with her family especially spending time with her nieces.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 8 from 6:00-7:00 pm with a rosary beginning at 7:00 pm at Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth Funeral Home in Little Rock. Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. Theresa Catholic Church, 6919 Baseline Rd. in Little Rock at 10:00 am Monday, September 9, 2019 with burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery.
