Virginia Fetzek

Virginia McClernan Fetzek, 99, of Little Rock, passed away peacefully on November 2, 2018 at Hospice Homecare. She was surrounded by her four children.

She was born in Bemidji, Minnesota; the daughter of Clara and Augustus McClernan. She was a member of Our Lady of Holy Souls Catholic Church for 73 years. A loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Joseph G. Fetzek and her brother, Frank McClernan and a sister, Loretta McClernan.

She is survived by one son, Dr. Joseph P. Fetzek of Boise, Idaho and three daughters: Terry Snider of Little Rock, Ginny Shirley of Dallas, Texas and Cathy Fetzek of Little Rock. Four grandchildren: Scott Snider of Boise, Idaho, Chris Snider (Carrie) of Little Rock, Jennifer Neufert of Essen Germany and Ryan Fetzek of Los Angeles, California and two great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held at 6:00 p.m. followed by a rosary service at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, November 5 at Griffin Leggett Healey and Roth, 5800 West 12th Street. A mass of Christian burial will be held at Our Lady of Holy Souls Catholic Church on Tuesday, November 6 at 10:30 a.m. with Father John Marconi officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
