Perfect wife, mother and friend, her life revolved around her family. She volunteered as an aid working with disabled children for over 20 years.
She served as president of Essex County Chapter of Brandeis Woman’s Organization for 30 years. Her fund raising thru artists in residence, book sales, and ballet and opera outing raised huge amounts of money for the Brandeis Library. She was honored with a beautiful luncheon as a thank you for years of service.
As a young woman she sang on the Yiddish radio stations and much later in life she was a soloist with Shiruna raising money for Israel.
She is adored by her family and was predeceased by her husband Sam and her granddaughter Lisa Goldman, and is survived by her daughter Carol Lipper (Sy), her son Dennis (Lauren), her granddaughters Carly and Bailey Usdin, and her sister Mae Gorman.
A Celebration of a Magnificent Life will be held at 11:45 a.m. on Friday at Bernheim Apter Kreitzman Suburban Funeral Chapel, 68 Old Short Hills Rd., Livingston, NJ. Entombment to follow at Beth Israel Cemetery, Woodbridge, NJ.
