Esther Fisher died peacefully on April 13, surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of 56 years of the late Arthur Fisher. Cherished mother of Nancy and David Waldenberg of Livingston, NJ and David and Sharon Fisher of Olney, Maryland. Adored grandmother to Todd, Samantha, and Emily Waldenberg and Zachary (Rachel), Aaron, and Leah Fisher, and great-grandmother of Shiloh Fisher. Estee was born on March 17, 1927 in New Britain, Connecticut and was the daughter of Edith and Edward Rachlin and sister of Ruth Tenner and the late Sidney Rachlin.
Estee moved from New Britain, Connecticut to Newark, NJ and attended Weequahic High School, and subsequently graduated from The Ohio State University. Estee majored in and taught Spanish.
Funeral service will be held on Monday, April 16th at 11:45 am at Bernheim Apter Kreitzman, 68 Old Short Hills Road, in Livingston. Interment will follow at Beth David Cemetary in Kenilworth.
