Leonard W. Metz, age 94, of Toms River, NJ, passed away at his home on Sunday August 19, 2012. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Rose of Lima Church 316 Ridgedale Avenue E. Hanover, NJ, on Thursday August 23, 2012 at 9:45 AM. A burial service will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, E. Hanover, NJ. Visitation will be at Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home 145 E. Mt. Pleasant Avenue Livingston, NJ, on Wednesday August 22, 2012 from 3-8 PM. Mr. Metz was a buyer and fashion coordinator with Ohrbach’s Department Store in Newark, NJ, for 51 years before retiring in 1986. He served his country proudly in the US Navy during WWII. He was the beloved husband of the late Adele Metz, devoted father of Diana and her husband Stephen Mango, and Leanne and her husband Richard Fink, loving grandfather of two granddaughters Nicole and Morgan Fink.
