Dear Barb my sister in Christ. I am saddened by ur death. Yet I am excited to know I will see u in heaven one day. It was a privilege and blessing to be with u when u asked Jesus to be your savior. Hope is what we have. I enjoyed the time we shared together. I praise God for allowing me to meet u. May God bless ur family and comfort them. I know how much u loved them.

March 17, 2019 This is Barbara Jolicoeur Gunther's Facebook page. Out of her 96 "Friends", some are notably absent. As an aside, attached is a photo of her Aunt Pauline's birthday party. Barb and her Aunt were born only 3 months apart. During WW II, Barb's Father, Frederick, served in the Army. Barb, Pauline, and her younger Aunt, Judy, grew up together in the same home and were co-raised by her Mother, Doris, her Grandmother, Gertrude, and Grandfather, George Paul. They were real friends long before Facebook existed and remained so their entire lifetimes. They will surely and sincerely miss will all of the rest of the extended "Paul" family. Barb so much loved her children and absolutely doted on her grandchildren. That said, there was so much more to who she was. All else who loved her is grateful that her physical and her emotional pain has ended and that she will dwell in the house, not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.

Such a kind and sweet woman she was. I loved her feisty side the most, she didn't take any guff from anyone. I hope her family can take comfort in knowing that when people think of Barb..they smile.
Rest well Barb and hug Smokey for me.

Gail and I were saddened to hear that your Mother had passed. She was a good friend and we always enjoyed hearing from her. I always enjoyed discussing politics with her and had hoped to get over to visit with her and see her political button collection. She had given me one years ago for Estes Kefauver whom I had met when I was a young boy.

Please accept our deepest sympathy and let us know if there's anything we can help with.

To Barbara's Family,

My sincere condolences to all of you on the passing of a great lady. Barbara lived around the corner from me for many years. She was very special lady and she was a mentor to me when I first started working in the City. Her kindness to others will always be remembered.

Just thinking of Barbara brings a smile to my face. It was always a pleasure to see and talk to her at city hall or at a political gathering. Her service as the employee representative to the Civil Service Commission was appreciated.

I am truly sorry for the family's loss, but know that you must have many happy memories of her to bring a smile to your faces.

Julie Albert and Family,

So very sorry to hear of your mother's passing. She was a very special lady, had a great sense of humor and I really liked working with her, although we probably had more fun at all the City of Westland gatherings/events we attended together,

My prayers go out to you in your grief. God bless you all.
