Whenever I visited with Barb, whether in person or by phone, before I shared any details of my current circumstance, I knew that this soft-spoken, wise, insightful, compassionate lady understood me perfectly, solely by the questions she posed to me with that empathetic inflection of her voice. Barb was devoted to family, and made you feel special. She expressed her faith in our Savior, Jesus Christ by the way she lived her life. Praise God that Barb is now eternally at peace in the arms of our heavenly Father. We are blessed to have known Barb, to have loved her and been loved by her, and to have received the gift of cherished memories to draw upon. May you find comfort in the outpouring of love and support from family and friends, and peace in the promise of Jesus' words from John 11:25 NKJ, "I am the Resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live." Peace and love be with you, dear family!

We often say: “she was a good woman.” Aunt Barb was this and so much more. Her strength was an inspiration to others and her wit always quick. She worked hard and she cared big. Family was what she enjoyed most. We always sent our cards to "a special aunt." May those that feel sorrow in her passage remember her with love and be comforted that she rests in peace. You will be missed, Aunt Barb. Larry and Irene Twork

Aunt Barbara was such a sweet person. Even though we moved away from Michigan a long time ago, she always made me feel like I was still part of the family. Good to see her at the happy occasion of Brad and Holly Way's wedding in Chicago.
Love,
Niece Carole
