I still cannot believe you are gone. I keep expecting to call you and hear your joyful "Hello" when you answer the phone. I am so truly grateful to been given the opportunity to have you as my Grandmother. You were always there to lend a comforting ear, a good laugh and a great big hug. 

I will never forget all of the cherished memories with you over the years. I will always remember your passion for collecting dolls and finding a "hot bargain". 

Your zest for life was truly one of a kind. There will never be another soul like yours Grandma Dot.

So sad to see this. Dorothy was the grandmother to my cousin's the Kanta berries, Laura, Megan, and Valerie and my Aunt Chis' mother. I have known her since I was a little girl and every time I would see her up in Michigan when I visited she would always be laughing and have a smile on her face. Funniest lady ever and so caring and loving. She would talk to me and treat me as if I was one of her own grandchildren. A very loving woman and a great grandmother to all of her grandkids. Rest in peace Grandma Dorothy you will be missed by so many. Xoxo

Remember the first time I met Dorthy.  Her first words were something like, "I checked you out online"!    Loved her wisdom, independent spirit, and speaking her mind with love.   She made me feel loved and always welcome in her home.   Thought of her as 'mom' and often prayed for her health and comfort.    She and her husband raised wonderful children that would make any parent proud.   My heart goes out to each of them as I ask that they accept my profound sadness for their loss.    Wish I could hug each of you in person!   The love that mom and  each of you so freely gave me speaks volumes of your family and is " treasured in my heart".
