Dear Sharon,Mary Beth, Stan, Kim, and Bill, We were so sorry to hear about your Dad's passing. We met your Dad about 9 years ago when we decided to build our cottage. What a kind and generous man! He gave his time so willingly to my grand boys and Paul. We will never forget how he taught them all to ski and always had a smile and a nice word for all of us. Even now as I sit here, I see him with the bandana on his head in the jet boat pulling many laughing children behind him--including my boys. Thank you all for sharing your Dad with us! He was truly one of a kind. I also enjoyed listening to the stories he would tell about all of you as teenagers and all the fun he had with you. Yes, he had those stories too--and of course his army stories. We will surely miss Bill every summer from now on--but we are so glad to have known him. May God bless your family in this time of sadness and may all your beautiful memories bring you comfort forever. Fondly, Houghton Lake Neighbors, Janice and David
