As childhood friends who grew up across the street from each other, there are so many memories that come to mind. As kids we played Barbie dolls (although, you and I had Betsy McCall dolls!), & dollhouse. There was hopscotch & hide and seek. Red rover and other fun games in the street. Summers were spent riding our bikes to Rouge Pools and jumping off 2nd deck! We thought we were so cool & brave. But, I know now who was the brave one. It was you, Mary Ann. My deepest sympathy & love to Bob, the children & the entire Plagany & Bohrer families. Debbie

To the family of Mary Ann what a beautiful person! Mary Ann was always kind and considerate to everyone! Mary Ann loved her family, her parents, friends. We would get together for dinner at our friends restaurant and could talk for hours. I tried to make her smile with get well cards etc, I wish this beautiful friend didn’t have to suffer so long! I hope heaven is as beautiful as they say and she is smiling down on all her family and friends who loved her so much! Enjoy my friend! 🙏🏻🙏🏻❤️❤️

The Williams and Bohrer families have had a lifelong connection since the early 1950s. And we've celebrated and grieved with each other throughout many of life's joys and sorrows. The loss of Mary Ann is another one of those events. I feel such sorrow to learn of her passing. I'll always remember her as a kind and caring person. I hope the many beautiful memories she left behind will bring comfort to her family and friends during this difficult time. My love, prayers, and condolences go out to the Bohrer and Plagany families, and all who grieve her passing.❤🙏

Mary Ann was a high school friend and classmate of mine at Rosary High School. Her smile radiated God’s light to everyone around her 😊. Her kindness and smile were genuine and a gift !
A memory I have of her was when we both were delivering babies at the same time at Providence Hospital in Southfield...small world that was in 1979.
She was a trooper and again was glowing.
God bless her and your family 🙏

I've known Mary Ann since kindergarten with Sister Jacinta. We attended and graduated from SGS and then went to our respective High Schools. I hung around with Bob and spent many days on Mary Ann's parent's porch just chawing (and smoking) as teens do. Mary Ann always lifted every conversation with her high standards and brought out the best in everyone she was associated with - including Bob and our gang of local fellas. She certainly factored in, in saving many of us from being delinquents. And, to this day, I put the toilet down for my wife because Mary Ann gave us males a scolding at a party we were at in the mid-1970's. Over the course of my life, we had cards from Mary Ann and I recently stopped in Bear Lake to see Bob last summer on a trip from Muskegon to Traverse. Mary Ann was in Detroit just finishing up a medical treatment and Bob called her to let her know I stopped on a chance someone would be at the farm. I got a chance to talk to her and intended to see both her and Bob at a later date this summer, as we live in Florida but go to Traverse City during the summer. God bless her - she was a wonderful friend, wife and Mother, I'm sure. And she won't have to make "any excuses to God" as Sister Catherine Henry challenged us - she was a saint.
