Rita Lane Baumann

Rita was born on September 7, 1934 to the late Joseph and Angela LeVay in Latrobe, PA. She passed away with family by her side on May 3, 2012 after a hard fought battle with cancer.

Rita was an active member of the Knights of Columbus and the American Legion. A wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and firend she touch so many lives.

She was the beloved wife of Desmond, and widow of Frank Lane. The loving mother of Kathy (Charles Bowen), Kelly (Jeff Fleshner), Frank (Alice) Lane, Mary (Jim Provot). 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren will miss grandma. She is also survived by her brother Richard LeVay.

Rita's family will receive friends on Sunday May 6, 2012 from 3-9pm with a Rosary Service at 7pm at Harry J. Will Funeral Home, 37000 Six Mile Rd. (East of I-275 and Newburgh Rd) in Livonia.

She will lie in state on Monday May 7, 2012 from 9:30 am until time of her Funeral Mass at 10 am at St. Raphael Catholic Church, 31530 Beechwood in Garden City.
