William Edward Crayk

Bill married his childhood sweetheart Marilyn on June 25, 1955. He started his journey as a bricklayer, but later joined the police force in Livonia. Bill was an honest and hardworking man, and quickly rose to the rank of Police Chief. Bill was admired by friends and colleagues alike for his integrity and work ethic.

Bill liked to spend his time golfing and traveling with his wife. He valued his family above all else, and created a tight knit family unit. Family gatherings occurred on the regular, and Bill loved sharing stories of his parents and his travels.

Bill is preceded in death by his wife Marilyn, and brother Jack Crayk. Bill is survived by his children Bonnie (Joe) Tarnacki, Paul (Karen) Crayk, grandchildren Christi (John) Ruper, Danny (Kris) Crayk, Teresa, Dawn, Danielle, great grandchildren Gabriel, Emily, Christopher, Cedric, Bella, Brenden, and great- great grandchild Grayson.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, December 14, 2023 from 3PM – 7PM with a funeral service at 7PM at Harry J. Will Funeral Home: 37000 Six Mile Rd., Livonia, Michigan.
