Anthony A. ""Tony"" Meza, of Longmont, Colorado, died Friday, June 30, 2006 at HospiceCare of Boulder and Broomfield Counties in Louisville. He was 65 years old.Tony was born in San Francisco, California on October 24, 1940. As a young boy, Tony moved to Johnstown, Colorado with his family. He later lived in Boulder where he married Irene Hempel in 1972. The couple moved to Longmont in 1982.Throughout his career, Tony had worked for several area barbershops before opening Tony?s Barbershop in Longmont in 1989. He also enjoyed playing golf and watching football.He is survived by his wife, Irene Meza of Longmont; his daughter, Pamela Salcido her husband, Ruben, of Denver; a step-son, Matthew Nemeth and his wife, Rhonda, of Longmont; and his granddaughter, Rubi Salcido.He was preceded on death by his parents.Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Howe Mortuary, Longmont. Memorial services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, July 3, 2006 at Howe Mortuary with Deacon Michael Berens officiating.
