I met Rick during the time he was very sick. He was always kind, grateful and showed his faith in God. I’m sorry we didn’t cross the finish line, but we ran a good race! My love to your family.

There are so many memories instilled deep within my heart. A lifetime full.
My brother Rick had the gifts of love, laughter and kindness, which I remember most. He had a personality everyone loved.
He was more than special, he was my brother, my only sibling. My gift from God. Always so blessed to have him.
I will always cherish his strengths and spirituality forever.
May you rest in peace my precious little brother.
All my love,

Rick - we first started working together in CMR in Los Alamos. He would put on his green scrubs and being so tall, I nicknamed him Fiona (from Shrek)! We laughed about that all these years. Then when he moved to TA55 I didn't see him for many years. Later on, it became habit that Rick would sit in his truck in the parking lot, first thing in the morning, waiting for me to walk up the sidewalk so I could put his hair in a ponytail for him! This man was the salt of the earth. He was a good, good man and will be sorely missed around here at the lab. He always talked about his family, especially his grandchildren and loved them more than life itself. RIP my friend - God speed.
