Obituary of Ann "Romi" Culler
Arvilla Ann "Romi" Culler, 87, passed away Thursday, September 15, 2022 with family at her side. Ann was born in Pepin County, Wisconsin on July 25, 1935 to Roma and Barbara Weissinger. She was a Franciscan Sister of Perpetual Adoration in La Crosse, Wisconsin for almost 20 years where she also earned her nursing degree. After leaving the convent, she went to Frontier Nursing in Kentucky becoming a nurse midwife. It was in Lexington, Kentucky that she met and married her husband Tom. She served as a nurse midwife delivering thousands of babies until she retired. She then dedicated her time to her grandchildren. Ann was a devoted wife and loving and caring Mom and Granny. She was a sweet, patient and generous mom to all she met. Ann was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Thomas, and siblings Evelyn Feeney, Hubert Weissinger, Kenneth Weissinger, Roman Weissinger, Phillip Weissinger and Bernard Weissinger. Left to treasure her memory are children Barbara Oneal (Patrick), Tim Culler (Alanna), Tom Culler (Patty), Ev Culler (Deanna); grandchildren Maura Culler, TJ Oneal, Brendan Culler, Taylor Oneal, Finn Culler, Peyton Oneal, Avery Oneal and Kennedy Oneal; and other extended family and friends.
