Arlene Joyce Hartlage, 79, of Louisville, KY passed away on March 31, 2021.

She was born on November 16, 1941 in Louisville, KY. She is preceded in death by her parents, Thelma Rae Watson and J.C. Watson; her daughter, Vickie Sneed; and her sister, Carolyn Myers.

She retired from Ford Motor Company after 25 years of service. Arlene was a member of Highview Baptist Church; where her and her husband, Steven attended One In Christ, Sunday School Class. Arlene loved and admired her family, but especially gave her undivided attention and love to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren who meant the world to her.

Arlene is survived by her loving husband of 34 years, Steven Hartlage; children, Michael Sneed (Paula), Tony Sneed (Dana), Brian Carrier and Kimberly Whitcomb (Jan); siblings, Norma Manford and Sherry Davidson; grandchildren, Brennen Sneed (Taylor), Adam Sneed (Kacie), Kristi Hornback, Miranda Seymour (Christian), Shane Sneed, Hannah Fife, Lara Obradovich (Kiley), Veronica Miller (Tommy), Anthony Sneed, Victoria Carrier, Joey Whitcomb and Olivia Carrier; and twelve great-grandchildren; and many loving friends and extended family members.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven (4400 Bardstown Road, Louisville, KY 40218), with a service to honor the life of Arlene to follow at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Arlene will be laid to rest at Resthaven Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to BsideU For Life (701 W. Muhammad Ali Blvd. Lou, KY) or Home of The Innocents.
