I met Bob way back in 1966 when we both lived in Arcade apts in Louisville. He was just 31 at the time. Young & handsome and a great personality. Bob was soft spoken and was always there for any of his friends if needed. He was very good to me and I have fond memories of our many talks. I saw him last about 5 years ago for lunch. It was the first time I had seen him in over 30 years. We had a wonderful talk and catch up time....I felt he was still my friend after all those years. My prayers and condolences to Cindy (whom I met once when you were very small) and to Bob's family. God speed, Bob....

"Bobby Wayne" hired me as a 18 year old kid to work as a store detective for him. After getting hired at 21 by JCPD, I followed in Bobby's footsteps and became a police diver. Bobby was the Uncle that I never had. He taught me how to drink bourbon, fish, frog gigg, play cards (Tonk!) and appreciate women.

I was honored when he asked me to say the eulogy at his wife's funeral. I have never met anyone like him. RIP Bobby Wayne Thank you for your service and being a great friend and mentor!

It was September 1988 that I took the position as Office Clerk for the Louisville Police Retirement Fund. He was a trustee for the Fund up until a year or so ago. I remember Bobby as a gentle spoken, easy going person who always would listen before speaking. He is a true gem that will be missed by all.

Dear Family,

Our family met Bob awhile back. He was very much a pleasure to know. He was a kind man and gave much respect to my parents. He had a close friendship with my sister for many years, through the years our family knew to love him. He will be missed

I'm sorry to hear about your dad. Will always remember the story of him and daddy wrestling in the backyard before he married your mom. Daddy said many times that Bobby had him whipped, but he wasn't going to let him win. Ultimately, he did - he had you as a daughter. You're in our thoughts and prayers, Cindy - love you!
