We remember how much Mr. Don (as we knew him) would support Ellie in her WHAS Crusade for Children campaign each year. Mr. Don would save dollar bills all year. Anytime he broke a larger bill, the one dollar bills would go in an envelope for Ellie and the Crusade. Each June, he would present her with a wad of dollars, usually several hundred dollars. He was a great friend to all of us and we will miss him. His selfless sacrifice for our country will forever live in our hearts. Rest now Mr. Don. Your work here is done.
