She was preceded in death by her husband, James K. Preasmyer and her parents, Albert and Mary Spittler.
Elva is survived by her children, James Preasmyer and Jeanne Preasmyer; grandchildren, Kelly Preasmyer Rounsavall and Chad Preasmyer and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services are 2pm on Saturday, October 1, 2016 at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Rd. Visitation is from 11 a.m. until time of service.
Entombment: Resthaven Memorial Park.
