Gary became a fast friend back in Greensburg when we lifeguarded together at the local swimming pool. I was drawn to his infectious laugh, and appreciated the kindness and acceptance shown this “local kid”. We shared many interests, namely music and water sports, that continued beyond the Greensburg days. Gary is a genuine soul this world will truly miss.

Gary and I were friends and fellow lifeguards in Greensburg Ky. in the early 80s. There were few people I enjoyed being around more than Gary; his laid back enthusiasm for life was infectious as was his humor. At this moment I am hearing his laugh, smelling Coppertone, twirling our whistles while Phil Collins blares. Sweltering summer days followed by sweet summer nights, always laughing. Thank you.
Godspeed my sweet friend.....
