Joseph Aaron Blansett, Jr., 97, passed away Tuesday, March 20, 2018. He was an accountant with Mingle Plywood Co. and then took a position as the Administrator at Maple Manor Christian Home from 1973 to 1988.

Joseph was preceded in death by his loving wife, Martha Elizabeth; his brother, Elbert Blansett; and sister, Billie Searcy.

Left to cherish Joseph's memory are his children, Sherry Wood (Paul), Bonnie Rowe (Tom), Karen Meek, Greg Blansett (Ann); 9 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

The Funeral Service will be Saturday, March 24, 2018 at 10:00 am at Evergreen Dignity Memorial Chapel. Visitation will be Friday from 2 pm - 8 pm at the funeral home.

Memorial donations in Joseph's name may be directed to The Portland Christian School or Maple Manor Christian Home.
