He was a lifelong piano tuner/ technician and during his career worked for Eastman School of Music and University of Louisville School of Music. Larry was a member of South Louisville Seventh-day Adventist Church.
His parents Florin Loree(stepmother, Arlene) and Helen Loree Mathwig(stepfather, Willard) precede Larry in death.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of thirty-five years Beth Loree; daughters, Marla Perley(Bruce), Paula Loree, Carol Loree; grandchildren, Aaron Parrish, Shannon Smith(Ian), Brett Smith; great granddaughter, Jasmine, brother Jack Loree; half-sisters, Eudora Cotter, Joyce Crump, and Marcia Watson.
Visitation will be Friday, April 27, 2018, from 3-8pm at Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home, 8519 Preston Hwy. Louisville, Kentucky 40219. A memorial service to celebrate the life of Larry will be held Sunday, April 29, 2018, at 2pm at South Louisville Seventh-day Adventist Church, 7319 Southside Dr., Louisville, Kentucky 40214.
