Louise Emberson

Louise Emberson, 92, went to be with her Heavenly Father on Sunday, September 15, 2019. She was a wonderful wife and mother and the owner of Pennsylvania Run Golf Course. She was a member of Little Flock Baptist Church for 45 years where she sang in the choir. Louise was also a member of Weight Watchers, loved crocheting, bowling, golfing, and having lunch with friends.

Preceding Louise in death is her loving husband of 54 years, Matthew “Cap” Emberson; parents, Stanley Hatfield and Gladys Boyd Hatfield; siblings, Reba Embry, Stanley Hatfield Jr, and William “Shorty” Hatfield.

Left to cherish Louise’s memory are her children, Vickie (Gary) Gravens, Susan (Tony) Drury, Matt (Sherry) Emberson; 8 grandchildren, Isaac Pendley, Ronnie “R.C.” Bedway (Megan), David Ryan (Tasha) Pendley, Richelle Bedway (Shawn), Matthew (Courtney) Emberson, Tara (Aaron) Dixon, Adam Emberson (Erin), Brandon Pendley (Casey); and 15 great-grandchildren; sister, Ethel Mae Smith; brother-in-law, Gene Embrey.

The Funeral Service is Friday, September 20, 2019 at 12:00pm at Evergreen Funeral Home with visitation Thursday from 10:00am-8:00pm and Friday from 10:00am-12:00pm. In lieu of flowers please support St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
