She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Dorothy Helm; and her husband Jerry Elder.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Carrie Embry; and her three sisters, Penny Arthur (Jim) of Toronto, Canada, Pattie Hershey of Wheeling, WV, and Jane Wilhem (Dick) of Louisville.
Nancy worked at First National Bank and also Suburban Hospital.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Sunday, September 18, 2016 in the Chapel of Arch L. Heady & Son at Westport Village, 7410 Westport Rd. Visitation will take place from 12:00 PM until the time of the service on Sunday at the funeral home.
