She was born in Louisville, Kentucky and lived most of her adult life in New Mexico and Arizona, where she and her husband owned and operated many diverse successful businesses. Toodie was extremely generous, had a quick wit and loved her 5 o’clock happy hour.
She was a member of the Eastern Star in Taos, New Mexico where she served as Worthy Matron.
Toodie was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bill, with whom she is now reunited along with her parents, Naomi and Mike Donohue and sister, Charmaine.
Left to cherish her memory are her three daughters, Florence “Puddie” Scott (Richard) of Louisville, Susan Cohen (Joel) of Ft. Worth, Texas and Margaret Gins (Joshua) of Charleston, South Carolina; grandchildren, Miles and Max Slinde, Bart Myer, Parker and Mitchell Gins, Alyson Gay (Ted), Ansley Brasher (Brad) and Alex Scott (Lara); and a nephew, Michael Hart (Susan).
A private family gathering will be held at the National Cemetery in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
The family would like to express their thanks to her caregiver, Kathy Wells and members of her Hosparus team.
