Roger was one of the best softball coaches that went above and beyond just being about the play. His dedication and kindness in teaching and sharing the love of the game touched so many lives. He helped our team make history with the team from Louisville going to The Worlds in 1987. Thank you Roger! Little did we fully understand how special these times were. Peace to the family and all of the players throughout his long coaching career.

Rogers was a great person. He was always friendly and had a smile for everyone. I never met anybody who knew more about horses and jockeys than Roger. We talked about his softball group and he was so proud of them. He was a great Kentucky fan and he took all in stride when someone hung his Kentucky bear. May your memories give you comfort.
