Roy had always been a supporter of BSA Troop 17. He and his family always worked,attended all fund raisers of the Troop. All three of his sons belonged to our Cub Pack and Troop. Roy Sr. Was a true friend and was considered a good friend of our troop. We will miss you at our spaghetti dinners and pork chop dinners. My deepest sympathy to family and pray God will accept him into His eternal paradise.

Angela and I remember all the good times at Precision Tool and Die with Roy. I also remember the good times at all the parties. We are  saddened by Roy' s passing. Our thoughts and prayers, are with the family. 

One of my favorite men in the whole world. Roy would give you the shirt off his back, and last penny in his pocket. He loved his family, and family was everything to him. Always, always had a smile on his face, and kind words to speak. I have nothing but great memories, and only kind words could ever be spoken about him. I hope he knew how much he was deeply loved.  He will always be missed!❤️😍

Every once in a while we are blessed  with a someone  special ,Roy  was one of these people ,he was  a good man loved his family and friends  and never asked for much.  During good times and bad  Roy always had a smile on his face  and manage to make the best of life.  We are so glad to have met him in our life time.  Our sympathy  and prayers to the family . Roy is preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Louise Hess; his brother, Walter Hess; and his sons, Keith and Joseph Hess.

Left to Cherish his memory are his sons, Roy(Patti) Hess, James(Abby) Hess, Scott Hess; his siblings, Margaret, Loretta, John(Theresa), Earnest(Debbie),and Shirley(Edward); 8 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.
