On Wednesday, November 25, 2020, Marilyn Beavin (a beautiful soul) passed away in Loveland, Colorado at the age of 79. Marilyn was born in La Junta, Colorado where she also graduated from La Junta High School. While in college, she was in a terrible car accident, she suffered a severe head injury and though she recovered physically, her personality was altered. She worked for the government using her typing and shorthand skills. Marilyn was married to Austin Beavin for eleven years and had two daughters, Jennifer and Cindy. After her divorce, Marilyn faced many challenges being a single parent, but she bravely persevered. At the age of 40, Marilyn enjoyed taking Anthropology classes at the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley. Marilyn was a woman of faith who loved Jesus with all her heart. Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents (Bob and Josephine), her older siblings (Robert, Ronald and Patsy), and her amazing daughter (Jennifer). Marilyn is survived by her youngest daughter (Cindy), sons-in-law (Randy and Mark), grandchildren (James, Rachael, Brielle, Mark Jr., and Hannah), and two great-grandchildren (Isaac and Ellie).
