Thomas Neil Isenberger
March 24, 1952 – February 12, 2021
Thomas Neil Isenberger was born March 24, 1952 in Buffalo, Wyoming to James and Norma (Willey) Isenberger. At age 6, he was adopted by his aunt and uncle, Jay and Doris (Isenberger) Pittillo. Tom graduated from Converse County High School in 1971. He served in the United States Coast Guard from 1971 until 1975 and was honorably discharged. He started his career with Mountain Bell in November 1975. He worked in telecommunication his entire career including Mountain Bell, US West and Qwest.
He married Carol Sullivan of Douglas Wyoming in 1973. Together they had children Shawn, Thaddeus “Thad” and Trisha. They were married until 1998. In 2000 he married Linda Jager of Loveland, CO. They were married until the time of her passing June 30, 2006.
Tom is survived by his son, Thad (Kindall) Isenberger, Douglas, Wyoming; daughter, Trisha (Mark) Blacklin, Manor, TX.; grandchildren Jack and Luke Isenberger and Carly and AJ Blacklin; sisters, Deb (Tom) Martin Siloam Springs, AK, Cindy Rossitch, Raielgh-Durham, NC; brother, Jim Goodall of Langley, WA.; stepchildren, Amy (Nate) Sarchet, Trisha Manke, and Casey Manke; and amazing friend, Kathy Stone.
He will be remembered fondly by his many friends and adopted family from the “hood”.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Isenberger; son, Shawn Isenberger; parents, Jay and Doris Pittillo; parents, Jim Isenberger and Norma (Willey) Brown; sister, Lisa “DeeDee” Goodall, and brother, Jay Pittillo Jr. In leu of flowers please make a donation to Douglas Youth Hockey P.O.
