With heavy hearts, we announce the loss of our dearest friend, father, and grandfather, Mark Anthony Luevano on March 30, 2017 in Saint Helena. Mark was born in San Jose, California on October 22, 1963, and graduated from Clearview High School in Lorain, Ohio.
Mark moved back to Lake County in the early 1980’s where he worked for a variety of local businesses over the years honing his skills and arts in craftsmanship, landscaping, and food.
Although Mark met many challenges in his too short life, he was and is one of a kind. He may have been short in stature but at least he always managed to escape the big guys. Always the life of the party, strumming his guitar with his best friend Joe, telling the same ole’ jokes but still just as funny. The man could deliver a punchline like no other. He had an enormous heart and a contagious laugh, someone you always wanted to be around.
Mark had many hobbies, including fishing and participating in the “Catfish Derby” every year. Woodworking where he created many beautiful masterpieces for his wonderful partner in life, Ramona. They shared many great memories that shall never be forgotten. His “Gazarbor” was built to withstand the test of time and birds will enjoy their “condo’s” house that Mark built for years to come. Mark’s love for life and the people in it will never be forgotten, we were all so blessed to have had him for the short time that we did. Remember the love and not the loss.
Mark is survived by his partner of 14 years, Ramona, daughter Tiffany Luevano and grandchildren Jason Luevano, Lilliana Rhodes, and Kadin O’Sullivan, his aunt Wanda, cousins Cliff, Vince, and Terri Jo, nieces and nephews Tara, Randy, and Toni Lynn. Mark also leaves behind best friends Joe, Donna, Jennifer, John, Gretchen, Ty, Doug, Susie, Craig, and many more. Mark was predeceased by his mother Patty Richardson, his father Gib Hale, and his sister Alisa.
There will be a private gathering for Mark to be announced at a later date. Arrangements under the care of Jones & Lewis Clear Lake Memorial Chapel.
Please sign Mark’s on-line guestbook at www.jonesandlewis.com and www.legacy.com and share your many stories of Mark.
