Obituary of Donny Herriage

Resthaven Funeral Home & Memorial Park

Mr. Don Herriage, 84, of Lubbock, passed away January 11, 2019. He was born to the late Gene Herriage and Ethyl Cypert on May 28th, 1934, in Idalou, Texas. He was 84.

Donny was preceded in death by his loving wife, Betty Herriage. He was survived by his children Jay Don Herriage of Lewisville and Melody Herriage and husband David Simpson of Lubbock. His grandchildren are Zach and Tyler Herriage, and his wife Corri.

Although Donny did not have any siblings, he was closest to his three uncles, HC, Houston and Jack Trammel. He and his “brothers” owned and operated Trammel’s Lubbock Bail Bond. For most of his life, his passion was raising and racing horses.

Services will be held at Resthaven Funeral home on Tuesday, January 15th. There will be a viewing at 10:00 AM and a graveside service at 11:30.
