Funeral services for Emma Hazel Qualls Foster, 91, of Lubbock, who died Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2015 at Quail Ridge Memory Care Center in Lubbock, are scheduled at 11:00 am Saturday, Jan 10th at Resthaven Mausoleum in Lubbock with a visitation starting at 10:30 am. Rev. Doug Kello will officiate. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Park.
Emma Hazel Qualls Foster was born June 25, 1923 in Knox County near Benjamin, to Clarence B. and Sallie (Daniel) Qualls.
She attended schools at Pep and graduated from Morton High School. After graduation she moved to Lubbock. She worked at Army Air Corps Case, The Avalanche-Journal and retired in 1988 from Methodist Hospital after 25 years.
She was a member of South Park Baptist Church of Lubbock.
After the death of her first husband, Frank E. Miller, she mar-ried David Bruce Foster, June 5, 1953. David preceded her in death, Sept. 13, 1998.
Survivors include cousins, Joella Lovvorn, M.D. Lovvorn, Eddie Don Daniel, and many others. She is also survived by her niece, Toni Manning chambers and her husband, Bob Chambers, who where her caretakers.
