Betty Peel, 90 died Tuesday, June 19, 2018 in Lubbock. Services will be 1 PM, Monday, June 25, 2018 at Resthaven’s Abbey Chapel with Pastor David Savage officiating. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. A visitation will be held from 2-4 PM, Sunday, June 24, 2018 at Resthven Funeral Home.
Mrs. Peel, who was born June 17, 1928 in Denver, Colorado, had been a long time resident of Lubbock. She graduated from Denver University and taught Special Education for 30 years.
She was member of the Trinity church and generously contributed to many outstand charities.
Preceding her in death was her husband, Donald F. Peel, May 12th 1994, a daughter, Cynthia Arnold of Oklahoma, January 30th, 2016.
Survivors include her twin sister, Joy Sparks, son Daniel Peel, three grandsons, and four great-grandchildren, all of Lubbock.
