Jessie T. Suniga

August 13, 1931October 3, 2019

Jessie was a native Texan with his roots in south Texas. He was a truck driver for the majority of his adult life. He was affectionately known as “Tio Chuy” to our family.

Tio Chuy had no biological children so his nieces and nephews were his kids. He was a very kind and warm hearted man with many, many stories. He was a story teller. Tio Chuy loved coffee and he told many stories over a hot cup with others. He also loved old Westerns and Big Time Wrestling and later WWF. He would spend hours watching both.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife Leonora and several brothers, Ben, Luis, and Cristobal. He is survived by many nieces and nephews (too many to name) and all their children. We will miss him terribly.

A visitation will Sunday from 1-3 PM At Resthaven Funeral Home. Services will be held at 2:00PM Monday at Resthaven's Abbey Chapel.

Uncle Jesse you will be greatly missed. You are a man with integrity, a gentle- kind spirit, and obviously lived a life guided by our Creator. Regardless of language barrier, we had some really good talks and it was always pleasant being around you. May you RIP with the angels in heaven.

I will miss you Tio Chuy, I will miss sitting at the dinner table drinking a cup coffee with you. I will miss hearing the stories about our family history. The memory of your chuckles and laughter, gentle good nature, and your kind soul will forever be in my heart. Rest in eternal peace Tio Chuy, I love you with all this heart of mine.

Tio Chuy will be truly missed! He was a wonderful man, and I enjoyed the time I was able to spend with him. Prayers for comfort and peace for the Suniga/ Lopez families.
