She graduated from Slatington High School in Pennsylvania.. Joan married the love of her life, Richard Knerr on October 18, 1952. Joan worked for Hemphill-Wells in sales. She was also a library assistant for Coronado High School.
Joan loved to spend time with her family and friends. She also enjoyed reading and drawing.
She is survived by her daughter, Paula Eubanks of Lubbock, TX; son Michael Knerr of Las Vegas, NV; grandchildren: Angela Kindrex of Beebe, AR, Aubrianne Knerr and James Knerr of Las Vegas, NV; great-grandchildren Mackenzie Kindrex and Jason Kindrex of Beebe, AR; brother, Larry Martin of PA; sisters Shirley Paliez and Patricia Fronheiser of PA.
She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers and sisters.
Visitation will be on Sunday, December 9, 2018 from 3-5 pm at Resthaven Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 10, 2018 at 1:00 pm at Resthaven’s Abbey Chapel, with interment to follow in Resthaven Memorial Park Cemetery.
