OBITUARY
Wilmer W. Head
January 19, 1941 – December 22, 2015
Wilmer Head, 74, of Lumberton, passed away Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at his residence.
Funeral services will be at WHITE FUNERAL HOME, 102 North 1st Street, Lumberton on Monday, December 28, 2015 at 2:00 pm. Burial will follow in Hickory Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends and have visitation after 11:00 am until time of services, Monday at the funeral home.
Mr. Head was born January 19, 1941 in Poplarville to Woodrow W. Head and Helen Seals Head. He was a retired heavy equipment operator with H & H Enterprises.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one son, Bobby Head; three siblings, J.W. "Hoo Doo" Head, Bertha "Gussie" Reid, Virginia Grey; and one grandson, Dustin Walters.
Family members include his loving wife, Margie Head; three sons, James Head, Kenny (Brenda) Head, Dale Head (Richard Edwards); one sister, Marilyn Blackwell; three grandchildren, Dewana Head, Crystal Head, Cheyenne Head; and one great granddaughter, Alexis Corley.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to: Joshua Generation MCC, Hickory Grove Baptist Church, or The Fieldhouse for the Homeless.
