Born on June 5, 1950 at Ft. Lewis, Washington, he was the son of Sue Ellen Bailey and the late Bernard O.A. Bailey.
Bruce was a retired auto mechanic who made his passion his livelihood. He enjoyed all forms of racing and built award winning cars. He appreciated and restored classic vehicles as well. He was also an avid Dallas Cowboys fan.
In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by his daughters, Tonna Bailey (Sean) and Tisha Burke (Barry); two step-children, Dana Cook (Marc) and Michael Cook (Kaidee); four brothers and sisters, Mark Bailey (Janet), Brenda Mills (Charlie), Cinda Rambow, and Brian Bailey (Regina); eleven grandchildren, Bailey Burke, Qwynn Daly, Bella Daly, Carissa Sandoval, Jorge Sandoval, Dylan Sandoval, Rex Cook, Jude Cook, Finn Cook, Stellan Cook, and Baby Cook.
A celebration of Bruce’s life will be held on Saturday, March 10th from 4-7 at McMahon’s Irish Pub, 380 Broadview Ave, Warrenton, VA 20186.
