David William Francis

He was born on December 21, 1964 in South Boston, son of William Frank Francis and the late Rachel Ann Hailey Francis.

David was an active member of Penuel Baptist Church and loved his woodworking.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Teresa Marie Francis.

He is survived by his wife Deborah; father, William F. Francis; daughter, Alisha Nicole F. Gwyn; two step children, Christopher Lee Keenan and wife Kimberly and Carry Wayne Keenan and wife Sarah; brother, Bernard Gene Francis; seven grandchildren; and a special cousin, Walter “Skeet” Smith.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, August 16, 2018 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel with Pastor Carlton Gunter officiating. Interment will follow at Fort Hill Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 – 12:45 pm just prior to the service at the funeral home.
