Rosemary E. Doucette-Hill

Rosemary E. (LaCroix) Doucette-Hill, a long-time resident of Lynn, passed away on Tuesday, April 12, 2016 in the NSMC- Union Hospital in Lynn. Born in Cambridge on September 27, 1956, she was the daughter of the late Silvio and Marion (Richardson) LaCroix. Rosemary was raised and educated in Somerville and was a graduate of Somerville High School. She worked for over 17 years for the All Care VNA & Hospice in Lynn as a Hospice Health Aide until her retirement in 2008. As a dedicated member of the VNA, she was awarded with the organization’s President’s Award for her outstanding service for helping those in need. Rosemary had a love crocheting and playing BINGO wherever she could. Her favorite passion was spending time camping in the Hunter’s State Line Campground in Fitzwilliam, NH. Rosemary is survived by her fiancé; Joseph Hill of Lynn, her children; Michael Doucette and his wife, Aimee of Lynn, Michael McLean and his wife, Allison of Wakefield, NH, Scott Doucette and his wife, Jenn of Lynn, Joshua Banusiewicz and his wife, Kelly of Everett, and Jennifer Kozlowski and her husband, Christopher of Lynn, her 12 grandchildren, her sisters; Paula Wing, Shirley Gens, and Maryanne Jerrier, her brothers; Paul LaCroix, Michael LaCroix, David LaCroix, and Richard LaCroix, her nephews; Leo and Mitchell Burgess as well as many other nieces and nephews. A Funeral Service will be held in the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple St. LYNN on Saturday, April 16, 2016 at 5:30 pm. Visiting Hours will be held prior from 2 to 5:30 pm.
