Bernice grew up in Lake City, Washington and married Emmett Burnell Larson in 1952. She raised 5 children: Pamela, Emmett Jr., Beverly, Joanne and Bryon. Her husband, Emmett passed away in 1987. She married Riley D. Franks in 1988. He passed away in 1999. Bernice was active and very supportive of her church, Advent Lutheran Church in Mill Creek. She is survived by 3 children; Pamela, Beverly & Bryon. She is also survived by 10 of her 11 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. The family would like to thank the staff of Cogir at Mill Creek for the care, compassion and support over the last 4 years.
A family graveside service will be held on May 24 at 2:00 pm at Purdy & Walters at Floral Hills, in Lynnwood. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in Bernice’s memory to Advent Lutheran Church in Mill Creek or to Continuum Hospice.
